Notice of opening and closing days for candidates to qualify for municipal election taking place November 5, 2019.

Qualifying for City Council districts (District One-Post Two. District Two-Post Two, District Three-Post Two) will begin Monday, August 19, 2019 and will end Wednesday, August 21, 2019.

This event will be held from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM each day.

Qualifying fee is set at  $126.00 for  Councilmember Candidates.

All persons desiring to run for office shall qualify in the office of The City Clerk located at 112 West Dykes Street, Cochran, GA 31014.

Tuesday, October 7, 2019 is the deadline to register to vote or to complete a change of name or address to vote in the upcoming election.

Advance voting will begin on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 and will end on Friday, November 1, 2019.

ELECTION DAY IS TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2019.
